Since I was a child, having grown up in an environment that saw the coming-of-age of the personal computer and the home video-game systems like Nintendo, Sega, and Playstation, I have been deeply interested in all forms of video entertainment. That, coupled with the influence of my 21-year-old brother constantly playing games, led to my gregarious interest in video games of all types.

With both of my previous jobs, I had to deal with retail sales, although in entirely different ways. With my first position, working at Potomac Mills' "Blooming Beauty," I worked (without commission), selling various products to customers and making educated recommendations based on product knowledge. I bring a similar empirical product knowledge to the table when working for a "Video Game" store, as I am independently knowledgeable in both areas. For my other job, I work as the secretary for an independent record label. My tasks include managing artist inquiries and mailings, initializing product distribution to other retailers, and ensuring the smooth flow and sales of a retail product. This job (although requiring intrinsic motivation), has been useful in developing multitasking and time-management skills.

I have extensive retail experience as well as experience in multitasking, typing, customer service, and other core functions of retail work.
