Benetha and Mama: "Freedom of Religon?"
At 20 years of age, Benetha comes forward with a belief she has. This belief, of course, is that she doesnt believe.
Despite the fact that she lives with Mama, Walter, and the rest, and despite the fact that she was raised a religous girl, she claims that she feels as if there is no god. This infuriates Mama to the point that Mama forces Benetha to believe in god so long as she lives in her home.
