Emergency Exit was a commercial blockbuster, hailed by critics and fans alike as being Twilight's Moon's best album to date. It spawned two singles, "Anyway," and "I'm Not Your Psychiatrist". Critics such as Stephen Thomas Erlewine said that "Emergency Exit" was "the beginning of Brian Larsen hitting his stride".
